I own both guns, and the TCP is more accurate in my hands while the LCP feels better in my pocket. Considering the short range expectations of these pocket guns, my nod goes to the LCP for concealability. But they're both keepers in my opinion.
Any idea if parts exist for the Downsizer WSP. Specifically, the striker/firing pin assembly? My friend dry fired it a couple of times after shooting two rounds through it, and the firing pin broke a the base. Any direction is appreciated on this one folks...
For edged weapons I recommend Steve Tarani. I've trained under him for two edged weapons and one improvised weapons class. The man knows his stuff and is an excellent trainer. Last summer he taught a class with Randy Cain here in MI.
I've had mine for a couple of years now. I've carried it a lot and shot it a little. It conceals well in my front pocket or inside my belt (I'm 5'9" average build). Never had any problems or a FTF with it. It shoots a few mags of WWB and a mag of Speer GDHP 124gr flawlessly each time I...
In your price range, if you can't comfortably carry a J-frame then reconsider the 22mag mini-revolver. Kel-Tec's are a crap shoot; some go bang and some don't.
I picked up my NAA Guardian for less than $250 used.
What about the senior Bush's ban? You remember; the ban that doesn't expire? The one that banned the further importation of the Galil, Norincos, H&K 90's series, etc?
I believe that having double strike capability was a requirement when the US military was selecting a sidearm to replace the 1911. It may not be something to make YOU want one gun over another, but it IS important to some people who carry firearms for a living.
I've had my Rohrbaugh since October of 2004. I've only shot about 400 rounds of Winchester white box target loads and Speer GDHP 124gr so far. It went "bang" every time that I wanted it to (no failures of any sort). I've concealed it in everthing that I wear outside of a swimming pool, and...
+1 on the Rorhbaugh. It cost me a P239 and a G27, but filled a niche that neither could; it's a true pocket gun, superbly built, firing a useable caliber each and every time that I pull the (smooth) trigger. Get your hands on one and you'll see what I mean.
My Rohrbaugh was worth every penny, as it fills a niche that no other pistol can fill. It's smaller in every dimension than a Kahr or Glock, and offers second strike capability unlike Kahr or Glock. I sold a G27 and P239 to buy it, with no regrets whatsoever. I have a few firearms (that cost...
