Seems like it is worth the price just to have an experienced self defense attorney on call 24/7 in the unlikely event that you need one. The civil and criminal legal defense could be costly, and it would be nice to know that they are well capitalized. I might sign up.
I wouldn't trade a 6906 for a 910. I do prefer the hammer spur on the 910, but the 6906 is a better built gun. I have found both guns to be very reliable.
62 and carry a J frame .357 magnum. Carried a J frame in my 20's, and about everything else for the next thirty some years. Now after all these years the J frame is my primary again.
I have removed and lightly polished the cylinder stop on a couple of my S&W revolvers. Still have positive lock up and much less of a line on the cylinder. Also polish the cylinder of the stainless steel guns after shooting. Have a 686 that has fired thousands of rounds and no visible line from...
For years I used an ankle holster when in business clothes most of the time. For the last few years I often carry a J frame in the front pocket of my jeans. Lots of good J frame pocket holsters out there. I like Mika's, Uncle Mikes, and a model sold by Cheaper Than Dirt.
I have bought and carried used pistols. I will replace the magazine springs, give them a through exam, and test fire them with various ammunition before using them as a ccw.
I was told many years ago when young not to dry fire any gun. To this day I don't do it, but really doubt that dry firing would damage a good center fire handgun.
Sold one recently for $225.00 with one ten round magazine. Was in very good condition, and was asking $300.00 with four magazines. The buyer offered $225.00 with one magazine, and I took it. Sold the other three magazines for $50.00 to another person.
I prefer revolvers as my primary SD gun but still keep a 9mm loaded with a fifteen round magazine in it, and several more magazines nearby, as a backup.
I have owned a few shotguns over the years, but mostly shoot handguns. Recently bought a Mossberg 500. It came with a 28" barrel and three chokes. Have some S&B lead and Federal plated 00 buck that I would like to shoot it it. What choke should I put in the barrel?
