Get a good shell holder and hold the brass all the way in with one hand and pull handle. I've had my CH4D for a couple of years and it works fine if adjusted properly.

I had a similar issue on my first AR, installed a spring in the lower wrong. Think it was the hammer spring.

I do not know if it will help but when I set mine up I noticed the bracket holding the bin would hit when seating primers. Maybe ?

I made the trip yesterday and the Maine store had 100, one single box-FAIL. Wanted a few thousand.

If you like cheap tools and don't mind fooling with a press try the Loadmaster. If you have a taste for better tools go with a Hornady or Dillon. I had a Loadmaster and am a mechanic, it's like Snap-on vs dollar store tools, in my opinion.

I have a RCBS 505 and a range master 750. The digital works great but I still double check with the 505 once or twice when setting up.
