    Funny little speed strips

I'm still pondering that Gamestalker says that he "almost always experience premature release". I don't see how either a speedloader or a speed strip would fix this.:D

Ammo Hoarders...Some Don't Play Fair or well with Others

Maybe Gordon Gecko was right: "Greed is good".

Welcome to the new "Normal" another ammo thread

I'm wondering if the increased number of .22 AR style rifles and semi-auto pistols has not reached the point where the supply of .22 ammo cannot keep up with demand. You just tend to go through a lot more ammo when you are playing war at the range. Also, lots of people have started using .22...

Is talking about our guns a good idea with big surveillance govt?

Well, there it is; fear that not only our second amendment rights are in danger, but also our first and fourth amendment rights. What's next?

    most rewarding gun purchase?

Most rewarding gun to shoot is my Winchester 9422. Not the best trigger or sights, but it is just a smooth gun to shoot. Totally relaxing. It is the only gun I have that my son has shot and then had a HUGE grin on his face when he handed it back to me. He said something about putting it in my will.

    Winchester 16 ga. Model 12

MlJ I have read in several places that all model 12s would slam fire because they lacked a disconnect. It was said that you could fire a model 12 faster than a semi auto because of this feature.

    Winchester 16 ga. Model 12

Thanks RC. I think your are correct. Outstanding information. I will try to get some calipers and check the bore at the end of the barrel. It does have a bead. The end of the barrel is pretty smooth with no bare metal showing.

    Winchester 16 ga. Model 12

I have a 16 gauge Winchester Model 12, made in 1956. It has a 20 inch barrel, but is not marked "Riot". It is not a trench gun. It is marked "imp cyl". It is in very good condition; excellent bluing, very good wood. I have had it since about 1980. Although it does not appear to have been cut, I...

What speed loaders do you suggest?

HKS or Safariland Buy one of each. Try them out. Pick the one that suits you best. Just like choosing a handgun.

Mark Serbu To NYPD: No Semiauto .50BMGs For You...

I have no idea how many of the police department SWAT teams have real capability, but I would think that if you are the BG and see 4 or 5 or 6 guys in black, bullet resistant gear, with helmets and face plates and assault rifles (real ones) moving toward your position, you would mess your pants...

No guns ever for the kids, what?

I'm wondering if the parents who say no toy guns for my kids are the same ones who allow their kids to play endless hours of blood and gore, shoot em up video games.
