Ruger LCP for extreme concealability
Charter Arms Bulldog (.44 Special) for general CCW
Charter Arms Undercover (.38 Special) back-up and car carry
Ruger P90 (just because I love a .45 Auto)
Thanks for all the replies guys. I went to the shop today and had decided to get the Ruger, but then I saw the had gotten a Ruger P90 in on trade. For the same price I got the P90, along with a .400 Corbon barrel and six magazines. I guess I am going to have to get reacquainted with a P90, had...
I'm looking at buying a .45 auto soon and am looking at the Ruger American, but the gunstore also has a Rock Island 1911 for the same price, roughly $500. Is the Rock Island a good gun at that price or should I just stick with Ruger? Thanks in advance.
I've been leaning lately towards getting an AR15 for my next rifle. Up until now I have only had lever actions and single shot rifles, however my son is starting to get interested in shooting rifles and he is really likes the looks of a AR and the fact it is cheaper to shoot than my .45-70 or...
My first gun was a Winchester 1894 in 30-30 that my dad got for me one Christmas. The first gun I bought was a Ruger Blackhawk in .357. Magnum. Unfortunately, they both had to be sold at early in my marriage to pay rent a couple months. Luckily, I have been able to replace them.
I just landed a Don Hume Jordan to go with a S&W Model 15-4 the other day. It has been a pretty good holster to just beat around town with. The gun and holster look good together in my opinion. How is y'all's experience with these holsters been thru the years?
Hers is a S&W Model 15-4 I picked up a few days ago. The finish is horrible, but any day I can get an old S&W revolver in an even swap for a piece of Glock plastic, I'm a happy man. :)
Of the guns I have at the moment, I would take either my Ruger Blackhawk in .45 Colt or .357 Mag, both with the 4 5/8 inch barrel. I love the .45 Colt, but it is blued, whereas the .357 Mag one is stainless and probably makes a better gun to have out in the weather during hunting season, which...
To me, the perfect carry gun will always be a revolver. I just like them better, shoot them better than autos, and they just have style. If I had only one it would be a S&W Chiefs Special in .38 Special with a 3 inch barrel. With that I could carry in conceivably any manner other than ankle...
My wife just bought me a new Charter Arms Bulldog, it's the classic version with the three inch barrel and exposed ejector rod. I am really wanting to get a vintage-style type holster. I looked at Bell Charter Oak, but they don't seem to make holsters for a three inch Bulldog. I would really...
Why would they be splitting up the manufacturing and corporate sides of the company? Is Wyoming that bad of a place to be if you are an executive, seems to be a better fit for a gun company.
I had to vote other. I'm partial to revolvers so I am going to buy a Ruger Single-Six very soon, but I will probably buy one of those little Taurus pocket .22s. The one my brother in law purchased has done well. We ran over 600 to 700 round through it and it only jammed a couple of times on...
I could live with my Ruger Blackhawks in .357 Mag and .45 Colt. These would handle my need for a daily carry gun and could be used for hunting in my area. For the times I need something more discreet carry or to serve as a BUG, my Ruger LCP handles those jobs. I have a Single-Six coming for a...
Here's my favorite pic I have taken lately. My Ruger Blackhawk .45 Colt with the El Paso Saddlery holster. Also the Buck Ranger my wife got me for Father's Day.
