I have the Beretta extrema 2 , manual said to break it in with several boxs of heavy field loads. A few boxes of the 3 1/2 " shells should do it...... if your shoulder can hold up to them....me no like those 3 1/2 " shoulder killers.

Heavy barrel on the 590 reduces recoil ( both types ) waaaaaaaaay more than ported regular type 590 barrel....adding weight wins again.
