Bob welcome!
Very nice wheels you have, look forward to your insight.
All I own right now are S&W revolvers, but am always ready to buy any good revolver.
Revolvers fire when the trigger is pulled
Have 2 S&W model 64's 4inch. One is a DA round butt,bobbed hammer.
Other is dash5 , square butt, wide hammer and trigger.
Load plain old 158 gr any type lead!
Don't need a magnum,or + P loads.....
Shoot your right leg with a plain old .38...
I use both HKS and Safariland,Just don't try to turn the Safariland knob or push the HKS knob......
Realy try both see what feels better or faster if need be.

A unloaded gun is just metal and wood to throw at the bad guy,IMHO a "GUN" is loaded all the time, for safety think its..for protection make sure it is.
I like the S&W Model 64 guns VERY much.
I have a M64 (no dash) with 4"brl , bobbed hammer , DAO , round butt paid $300
I also have a M64-3 with 4"brl , square butt.
You will have fun shooting this gun!
I like the round a bit better, also like DAO better.

Welcome to THR,it is fun here!
The LEO who taught the CCW class that my Dad and I took would not let anyone use a High-Point for the range part of the class.
You may want to sell it (to a friend or foe) they do not sell for much that I have seen.
The Ruger Security Six sounds like a keeper!
