i was using my marlin 717 m2 semi auto. after i went throu the ammo and picked out the split ones no more blew up, but i also did not shoot very many more.
could one of these damage my gun?
i was shooting my 17 mach 2 and had two blow up. got to looking over the ammo and found several that had a split in them. why are the brass split for? and what would cause the bottom to blow out like that for? over loaded? hot caps?
does anybody reload the 308MX, i am fairly new to reloading all i have loaded are 44 mags before. i have never loaded rifle bullets before. how is it different that pistol bullets?
yea its not what i thought i wanted either but sometimes a gun picks you. i saw this rifle and once it was in my hands i knew it was the one. weird i know
i just bought a 308MX not knowing that there isn't alot of ammo for it.
i have a lee press but it seems lee does not make dies for this round. besides buying a new press what are my options? will any die work in a lee press or is it made for their dies only?
i bought the honaday lever evolution ammo, i am looking for dies to reload, i have a lee press and can not find a lee dies for it others have in but not lees.
so if i can find a die i should just be able to buy .308 flex tip from hornady (which will be the same bullet as the .308 win)right?
well.... i have been looking for a couple of days now and i found a 308 Marlin MX . i just got home with it and i haven't shot it yet, but i will first thing in the morning.
i did not know this was a new bullet till i got home and found out it did not shoot 308 win but i have found a good...
