Some Questions Regarding the Remington 700

I'm not sure that's true. Based on the memo I read, Walker's tolerance study ("statistical analysis") provided a tolerance stack that could theoretically lead to a discharge without pulling the trigger. I would be very interested to understand what prompted the tolerance study - it might...

    What's in Your Murse?

Well, when I'm actually in the vehicle, my murse is next to me. When I go into say the post office, it (or some of its contents) remain in the vehicle which would be the case no matter how I carried my firearm. My experience proves that murse carry can be extremely secure.

    What's in Your Murse?

I think the best parts of murse handgun carry are: * It makes no difference what you are wearing, your gun will be with you. * You don't have to "dress to carry." * Size becomes far less of an issue. You carry what you are most confident with and not what will gouge your love handle...

    What's in Your Murse?

You've got that reversed. I asked what people carried in their murses. Got some darned good lists -- some good ideas. Unfortunately some less secure individuals have felt the need to hijack the thread to pronounce their insecurity when it comes to a carry bag.

    What's in Your Murse?

Indy's murse doesn't look at though it's suitable for holding his revolver. I suspect he simply made do with what he had. Well, there's also the fact that as a movie character, the holdster looks a great deal sexier as well. Sorry about the picture size. It's such an outstanding photo...

    What's in Your Murse?

In all sincerity, how so? Between my current murse and my first one which finally bit the dust at age 11, I never came close to misplacing it, losing it or having it stolen. One of the reasons I originally got one is because I was prone to misplacing my keys, wallet and other things around...

Some Questions Regarding the Remington 700

You certainly parrot the CNBC line... For those that actually understand mechanical design, this is a fairly interesting story. The rifle was designed, its parts had both dimensions and tolerances, it obviously worked and it obviously passed Remington's functional and reliability testing...

    What's in Your Murse?

I was thinking about WHY I carry a murse and there really are several reasons. Even though I'm fairly well organized, it seemed as though I was always searching for my keys, wallet, parking meter change, pen or whatever, just as I was leaving the house. I haven't spent a second searching for...

    What's in Your Murse?

A VERY strong analogy! Go to a black powder rendezvous and just about everyone will be toting a possibles bag, and it won't be simply for reloading supplies. I'm not sure where stuffing one's pockets became a test of manhood, but it's amusing to see that it has for some. I use "murse"...
