I have all three and love all three of them. I would say the Leupold is slightly clearer. If I recall, the Leupold has friction turrets and the others are clicks.
I have about 400 rounds through mine and it has been great. Reliable and accurate. I am taking it on a prairie dog shoot at the end of the month and plan to really heat it up. We will see how it performs then. 5.56 is cheap to load and easy on the shoulder. I really like mine.
I did a review...
I did the tan with Krylon. The other colors are Testors model paint that I brushed on. This is a S&W 15-22 so it is all plastic. The Krylon sticks great.
Awesome replies guys. Thank you very much for the insight and links.
rc, a sight like that is exactly what I am looking for. Jim, I will certainly call up MVA and inquire about the Lyman A5 repro.
Thank you for the input gentlemen. I certainly now have some things to consider. I'm definitely not too fired up about these being Chinese made. I may have to test my patience and look for an original. I am not stuck on a Malcom. I would be happy with a Lyman, Fecker, etc. from the 1920's -...
Has anyone had experience with Winchester Sutler's reproduction Malcom Scopes? I've got a vintage rifle that I want to put a vintage scope on. The originals are hard to come by and pricey. I ran across these guys and thought that a reproduction may be the way to go but I can't find much info on...

Thanks guys! I'm not really looking for one. I stumbled upon this one and would have picked it up just because if the price had been good. Since his asking was a couple bills high, I didn't even bother going back to haggle. At least I know the going price now.
I've spotted a Cokt Trooper MKIII for sale and wanted to get an opinion on price. I'm very familiar with S&Ws but not so with Colts. This one is blued with I believe a 4" barrel (maybe 5"). It has a heavy barrel (ribbed) with shrouded ejector rod. I would rate condition at 95%+ with just a...
Thanks for the compliments. I love the 1911 too but this thing just feels awesome. I spent an evening looking through all of Cole's Hi Powers before selecting this one. I made a broad list and slowly whittled it down to this one. Didn't get a chance to shoot today but hope to real soon.
Not really, just compared to the Hi Power I acquired about a month ago from Cole's. This was one of his $350 Hi Powers and I am pleased. I have only shot about 10 quick rounds through it to check for function but have been holding, pointing and dry firing it some and love the way it feels. I...
