I'd go with the Bull BBL 5.5"er. I had one in the MK II mdl. and it was a great shooter. I find I can hold the heavier BBL. a tad steadier. the longer BBL. = longer sight radius but to me 5.5" is long enough. Also I think the Bull BBL. looks nicer.

A S&W, 4", 66 no dash. Don't have it in hand yet.....waiting period limbo!

Gotta agree with the majority here and say a 4" .357, My preference is a S&W 66. The .45 acp 1911 in SS would be my 2nd choice.

Never shot a deer with my 500 but pole axed mountain boars using Rottweil Brenneke slugs....super accurate stuff!
