My 2 cents... Glock isnt as reliant on their Gov contracts that Colt was. Plus private owned vs. public. Once those contracts were lost they were done for.
The American public probably buys more Glocks than the entire worlds military contracts combined. (Obviously cannot verify the claim)

good.. now comes the $$$ issue. when a couple of magazines cost more than the gun you may have an addiction. STI-Infinity-MBX are typically good.. Have extra springs and followers on hand and a bottle brush.. The bottle brush is for cleaning them.
When I had too many safes. I kept one in my garage north of Houston. ( High temps and humidity). I used a number of desiccant cans and recharged them routinely along with liberal oiling of the long guns. I didn’t store any wood stocked guns out there though. Never got any rust nor had scope...
