Can anyone explain why 92 barrels seem off centered?

So I posted about my WC 92 having a barrel that was off centered a while ago, over a year ago in fact, and just about everyone said it was normal and not a problem. They were right. The gun is ridiculously accurate and I have had no issues whatsoever in over 5,000 rounds. But I want to know...

Why did top break revolvers die out?

I look at the Webley and I think to myself, "if that was sold today I would totally buy one." Reloads should be faster and I won't shoot any revolver enough to wear it out so strength isn't that important to me. Why didn't they catch on long term? What am I missing here?

Is there any difference for pocket carry between LCR and 642?

I find myself in need of a pocket carry piece. The 642 doesn't have quite as pronounced of a hump covering the hammer as the LCR does. Is this little bit of difference a big deal? I plan on using a pocket holster, probably a Desantis Nemesis.

Why do I shoot every Glock low and left?

I own 2 Glocks, a 19 and 17 and I consistently shoot them both low and left. Nice groups, just low and left all the time. I don't seem to shoot any other firearm this way. Does anyone else have this problem with a specific type of pistol? How do I correct it? I am focusing on my trigger...

Anyone carry or shoot a PX4 compact a lot?

Looking for some firsthand reviews. I am in the market for a new sub compact and I like DA/SA. Especially curious as to how easy it is for conceal carry.

New to CC, how to drive comfortably?

So far I have tried behind the hip, hip and appendix and the all suck while driving. I'm right handed and the gun hits the console and digs in. I'm carrying a 92 compact. Will going smaller help? I'm carrying the 92 in a Wilson Combat low profile OWB holster.

    Ruger AR 556 review

So I decided to go ahead and buy another AR before the craziness starts after the election and I have to say, for a 700 dollar rifle it is amazing. It comes with a unique front post and what appears to be a magpul flip up rear that has the ruger logo on it, nothing fancy but it works. It also...

How do I teach someone to stop flinching?

I have been taking my wife to the range for about 6 months. She still continues to shoot all over the place. High, left, right, down...you get the picture. Every shot is in another place. Her grip and stance are okay and we have tried multiple different variations. I have tried different...

    A 5.7 case in my 1911!

Okay, so I probably won't be believed but I swear this happened to me last night. I was shooting my 1911 and the guy two lanes down on my left was shooting a 5.7. Well, I changed mags and was about to release the slide when I felt something hit my pistol. I looked down and one of his cases had...

    Smith&Wesson Victory...2 thumbs up!!!

Bought me a new Victory today. Took it the range and put 200 rounds through it, no malfunctions and very accurate. Just a wonderful pistol to shoot. It comes with two mags and let me tell you, if you know you are going to buy one then do yourself a favor and get the mag loaders. I still can't...

    Sig MPX, 2,500 round report.

Well my mags finally came in from Sig last week so now I have 4! Couple of buddies and myself shot the crap out of it and 2,500 rounds later I can say this little 9mm is awesome. I cleaned and lubed it prior to shooting but left it alone till after we were done. I had on failure to eject. I...

Anyone ever shot a Russian PPSH-41?

If so, how was it? I've never even seen one but I know they shoot fast...real fast.

    Shot a Sterling today. Awesome!!

I'm a lover of all subguns. I've shot quite a few of them, MP5, Tommy Gun, Grease Gun and many others. I have to say that the Sterling is right up there. Fantastic weapon, the side loaded mags may look funky but they make sense trust me. Great place to put your hand and they are extremely well...

Wilson Combat Beretta, barrel off center?

So I bought a Wilson Combat 92 and the first thing I noticed was the barrel is not centered in the slide. You can notice this if you look down the muzzle or just down at the slide. I fired 350 rounds through it with no malfunctions or accuracy issues. I emailed Wilson and they said it's not...

This time the 870 is really fixed.

So I posted a month or so about my 870 tactical that I thought I had fixed but then the problem came back. Basically the sixth round wouldn't go in the tube, not all the time but enough to cause me worry. Tried multiple fixes, two trips to Remington, different assembly procedures, new follower...

    Bought a new MPX

Put 200 rounds through it yesterday, no hiccups. I always wanted a sub gun, particularly a MP5 but those are hard to come by, real ones anyway. Anyway I compared both the MPX and the new Scorpion but I knew I would always truly want the MPX so I plunked down the cash. I was a bit dissapointed...

New to 1911, are nosedives common?

I bought a Taurus PT1911 that came with one Taurus factory mag. I have since purchased 3 Wilson Combats, 1 Chip McCormick. All have had nose dive problems which leads me to believe that it may be the gun but being new to 1911's I wanted to see what other opinions had to say. Today at the range...

Anyone tried the XS pedestal mount sight??

How was it and does it include the epoxy? If not what epoxy would be a good choice?
