Mounting the optics not on the receiver but on the free float isn't recommended unless its a back up as it won't hold zero well. Use a cantilever mount to push it out further such as this.
Only one you need to be aware of are the colts as they had a different size takedown pin set for awhile. Otherwise yes they will all fit (in theory). There is always the chance of tolerance stacking but rarely an issue.
There are some nice lowers such as mega arms which IMHO make the best...
I described this to our EOD tech (retired SEAL). He just looked at me and said nice bomb and walked away. I keep mine on top of the safe and on a shelf separate.
Rapid expanding of gas in an enclosed container seeks the path of least resistance, which is how shape charges are made. A blast can...
I'm with you on this. I've owned a G19, it worked flawless however I just can't wrap my head around wanting one. I am a very good shooter yet I can't shoot one of these as well as any of my other guns to save my life. It is not the gun, it truly is me. I think they are ugly as sin and dare I say...
The grounds keeper is lucky Bozo never knocked on his door the day he didn't have food. Wild animals who are not afraid of people are a scary thing indeed.

Several problems with them at this point. A couple federal agencies adopted them as their new sidearms and they have been sent back to sig twice so far. Once for barrel issues.

You will be fine. She will be fine. Plus the separation for brief times are good for the relationship during this time. Everything will change, be ready for change. It's usually all for the better. Oh and congratulations.

Let me clarify a little. I don't see me going out to 500 with a 22. 200 with the 223 max for practice for tactical rifle and three gun. It's set up with a reddot and 3x magnifier. Maybe 200 with the 22 no idea at this point but it will be the inexpensive way to practice my bolt gun basics. So...
My old 243win rifle had a Nikon Monarch 3-12 x 42 on it and shot out to 500 yds just fine but I noticed guys using spotting scopes to check their shots when I wasn't.
I have done a little research but not too much yet. I was hoping peoples experience would chime in here.
I want a spotting scope currently for use from 100-500 yds. Right now it would be used for my 22's and 223 but intend on getting another longer range rifle somewhere down the road so would...
I'm going to clarify now as well. I don't necessarily agree with TSA which is why I said gonna play devils advocate but i wanted to point out it has nothing to do with constitutional rights. Thanks NavyLT
Lol. What you are missing in this is that by buying a ticket you are voluntarily submitting to TSA regulations and to follow the rules in return being allowed to fly on a private aircraft.
Again you are voluntarily flying not being forced to that is the key to hole in your argument of rights.
