Here's a great writeup of how to adjust the factory trigger. It's pretty easy and very rewarding.

Good shooting. If you ever get the itch to change out the trigger, try adjusting it first. Howas 1500s have very underrated adjustable triggers. I have 2 and I got them both to break like glass with no creep or travel whatsoever. If you go too light, you lose your safety though. Oh and you...
you'll be fine using a bullet puller on a loaded round. it's very very highly unlikely to set off a primer while pulling a bullet. just be careful trying to deprime a case with a primer in it. make sure you don't have any other primers in close proximity because it may set them off. if you...
How does everybody's local BP pricing compare to their online prices? The one in Oklahoma City is usually 5-10 bucks higher on most things in the store that on the website. I don't understand how they stay in business. Must be the fish tank.
HAHA you're right about the watches. The worst thing is that I haven't ever seen a decent looking watch in any of those pictures. It's never a cool old Ulysse Nardin or Vacheron. It's always some really gaudy new watch. Oh and don't forget the flashlights and pepper spray that find their way...
I have a Yildiz O/U and absolutely love the way it shoots and feels. I've never heard of anybody having problems with them. They are great quality for the money and come with a good set of chokes. I can't see you going wrong buying one. Just ask the salesman if you can look through them all...
I'd say as long as you're not resting the barrel of your rifle on the sand bag (which I've seen many people do), it shouldn't have any affect on your barrel harmonics...especially if your barrel is free floating.
I'm still questioning how much they expand. I load 230gn Hornady JHP XTP bullets (the same ones they use in the factory ammo) for my .45ACP 1911. This year I brought the pistol hunting with me to finish off the deer if they were still moving. I ended up shooting one of the deer through the...
I hear the drill adaptors work well on the forster, but you should be able to just remove the handle and chuck your drill right on the shaft without having to buy anything if I'm not mistaking. That's the setup I've been wanting to have. Right now I have a Lee case trimmer chucked in my drill...
Been using Ballistol as my favorite for years. Also have Eezox but I don't think it's as good for lubrication or rust prevention. If you use Boartech Eliminator in your barrel, Ballistol doesn't separate from the Boartech if they come in contact. I've had separation problems with solvents and...
