My 686-1 does have the M stamped on the yoke just before the 686-1 stamp. Thanks for the information. I take it that my revolver was made in 1986.

My 686-1 S&W I am trying to get a date of manufacture on this revolver. Has 4 in barrel. S/N AUP8731. Thanks for any assistance.

My Anaconda Just bought this at auction, have not received at this time. It has eight inch ported barrel which is drilled and tapped. Already have Python, Cobra and King Cobra need Diamondback, Viper and Boa.

I am waitng on the amo. Got 80 rds on its way. It was $700 for the gun, ammo and shipping.

The Luger is a S/42 with all matching numbers that can be seen without breaking it down. It has been reblued so it only good for a shooter.

I don't worry as i have bars on all windows and doors, a monitored alarm and two dogs, plus a loaded gun in eveyroom. Let someone try.

I got five of the mags from ccsporting arms when first came out with them and have had no trouble with them.

I have 25 handguns, from 7.62x25 Tokarev to a 45 Kimber Gold Match, but I carry a Glock 26 with Laser Grip site. Love that red dot on a target. Not any good in bright light so I still practice a lot.
