I think ur right 1911tuner decocking with thumb on the hammer just realized i do the same thing never took notice till i put a snap cap in tonight

I wouldn't put it to my head and decock but I have faith in the decock lever on my Sig and its always pointed away in a safe direction when I do just incase god forbid it doesn't work. But to me it's waaaay more comforting than carrying "cocked and locked" or having to thumb it down

I'm the same way shoudek I'm better with a .45 than a 9mm or .40 and when I shot the .357, .44, and 500 magnum I shot well and hit exactly what I was aiming for I guess the bigger calibers just agree with my grip and I over compensate with the smaller calibers

I love my SIG P226 in 9mm just a great gun or you can get it in .40 or .357 and get a 9mm barrel for it and have 3 guns in 1 you can do the same with a few SIGs

buy a SIG and you don't have to worry about a safe way of decocking it you can just hit the decock lever with no problems or fears

So the grip is the same as a G21? The G21 fits me pretty nicely I thought it might be bigger. has anyone tried it in 9x25 I haven't heard much about this round and was curious tho any insights on the 9x25? Is it sort of a .357 sig "magnum"? Like I said haven't heard much about it
