    Go with S&W. Best out of box. Kimber seems to have some problems, as evidenced by mine and others. SA is also a good first choice. For more money consider Les Baer, Nighthawk, and STI.

    Stampede vs Vaquero

    My 357 Stampede has been an excellent firearm. Accurate and the blue color looks very good. Close to 1000 rounds through her and no problems.

    Cowboy Cop

    Buy them! Don't have the nickel Stampede, but the (Deluxe) 357 I have is a great revolver. Shoots to POA and handles well. Recommend highly. They had some problems with the initial release but later ones seem OK. I'll wait a year or so on the New Vaquero for Ruger to iron the problems out, but...
