whats the problem in shooting 556 in a 223? Handy rifle at that - you know you can get those in the 60000PSI+ 454 Casulls etc...do you need the longer leade to make the accuracy worse or something?

like said - if you want to replace everything in your gun...then 10/22 is the gun you want....I shot this (thats a 10 shot group@50yds CCI minimags) with my Marlin 7000 bone stock 2 years ago...didnt feel a need for change. I did put it in a boyds stock last year with my son. I do not know how...

depends what you want to spend - the karsten kydex risers are nice and good looking- but the airconditioning pipe insulation (closed-cell foam) is super comfy. Some people like the stock pad....you really have to pick....depends on what and what for.
