Love my bsa best scope i have 6-24 it has everything and then some. Took it off my 17 and put it on my 243 for deer. I never had a $500 scope dont want one dont need one.

Exactly 4 in. groups every time would take a very consistant rifle:D accuracy is first but we spend alot more time looking at them than shooting them. Pay as much as you can and go with what feels rite-and looks good to you.

1 it's no worse than hunting inside a fence, just missing the hunting experience. 2 off season shooting from that place (same shot) will tell you if it's to far. You will be less accurate when a deer is standing there.

As far as bullet selection, stop by the stores you will probably buy ammo from & ^%@# there is your choices. You will be lucky if they have 3 choices in each cal.
