Nice looking carry gun! I have a 9c and a Shield, very reliable guns. I did talk Smith into doing some work on the 9c's trigger, now has a sweet and noticable trigger reset.
Sounds like you got a good gun. You can remove the series 80 plunger, and get a spacer to make it a series 70 for just a few bucks and a little time, can be restored to series 80 if you want.
The conspiracy side of me thinks a lot of these public displays are being done by anti 2A people, who want to make gun owners look like nuts, and make more people think 'responsible' gun laws are needed.
Well said ma'am, a little 'old school' common sense goes a long way.
I think we all would agree that some people need assistance. And some abuse the assistance, and some don't get enough assistance. The whole 'subsidy' and gubment 'help' programs need to be revamped.
NO! Subsidies should only be used for basic necessities. They certainly have the right to defend themselves, but if they can spend $200 for a gun instead of food, maybe they don't really need subsidies?
I have the right to free speech, but don't expect the gubment to buy me a radio/TV...
My weak points would be low light, moving while shooting, and moving targets. Oh, and toss in multiple targets. I don't have a range here I can practice those at.
Here ya' go, let someone else load your mags. You won't know how many rounds are in them, or if they snuck a snap cap in.
My understanding that overcoming a flinch is muscle memory (from dry presses) to overcome the fact you body knows that when you pull the trigger, you are going to have a...
If you like leather at a good price, I highly recommend Jason Winnie. Two or so week turn around time, good price, great product.

Quick replies to email from him as well. Kydex is great, but for EDC, I like leather.
As stated above, fatigue is a major factor. I use a 10# dumb bell in a two handed grip build up strength in the arms and shoulders. Can also practice your draw stroke with it.
For hand strength, I like these: http://www.prohands.net/who/sports/handgun/
I like the 'Pro' model better...
The Shield is much easier for me to carry. I have a 9c as well, and it is not a large gun, but the Shield is much slimmer. Shield has a better factory trigger as well. The Shield with the extended magazine is larger than the 9C.
Might just be me, but the Shield is much more comfortable to...
Good idea, but I like the Talon grips a LOT for polymer guns. http://talongungrips.com/
I have the rubberized ones on both my M&P guns. Gives a really solid grip, especially with the Shield.
