Upon further review it is happening in s&b brass. Just eyeballing the flash hole it is obviously smaller. Prob will cull the s&b since I don't have much of it. But will call redding again to inquire about smaller decap pins. They didn't seem to have an answer first time around. Thanks again...

Hello all, I have consistently had troubles when resizing (neck or full length) 22 hornet. The decap pin sticks in the flash hole and pulls out of the die. Have called company and they have no answer. Any wisdom would be appreciated and exercised. Thanks!

Ruger mod. 77 in 22 hornet. tried many different hand loads with different powders and projectiles and brass. With no changes. It now resides in the back of the gun safe. I can't bring myself to saddle someone else with this curse and sell it.
