I use the typical Forster inside/outside deburring tool. It usually takes several turns to remove the burr. In doing so, it removes a significant amount of brass. Once the inside and outside burrs are removed, the case mouth often has a near knife edge.
I see plenty of narrow angle (28 deg...
A question for the website gurus on the forum: How do I block the "Recently Viewed" banner that persists on Midway's website? It is extremely irritating and intrusive. Even when I close it, it pops up again directly over the area I'm trying to view. Sure makes it tough to shop on their site...
I've been an NRA lifer for a long time. In fact, yesterday I upped from Endowment to Patron. I have not yet joined SAF or CCRKBA. Looking at their websites, there seems to be a lot of overlap. Alan Gottlieb is the major player in both of them. I don't see a major difference in their mission...
Can anyone provide loading data for Alliant 300-MP? I bought a pound to try, but the only data source I've found is Alliant's website. While I generally trust them, I always like to cross-check loads.
I'm planning to load 158 gr jacketed bullets in the 357 and 240 gr jacketed bullets in the...
How long does it take you to spend as much on ammo as it did to buy a specific gun?
Having just bought a Ruger SR1911, I got to thinking about this. The darn thing is so enjoyable, I expect inside of a year I will have spent as much on ammo as the gun cost me; even with handloads.

Can anyone recommend a pistolsmith in Western Washington?
I have a late 60's model 41 that's getting more finicky about feeding and ejecting. While having a look inside for crud buildup, I noticed the sear looks worn and has been dragging on the hammer.
I'd love to find a good 'smith that...
Has anyone used Bob's Gun Shop for parts? If so, did the transaction go OK? They list a part I'm looking for, but having not used them before, I don't know if they're reputable.

Can anyone offer any tricks to disassemble a 541-T bolt? I use a Kleinendorst tool for Remington 700 bolts. As far as I can tell, it would work fine for the 541-T if only the hook was about 0.3" longer. Brownells doesn't seem to have an appropriate tool.
Thanks,
Krogen
