Thanks for the reply. The Bushnell scope would go for something better such as a Leupold. Got a drawer full of Bushnells removed from other rifles. Need a scope past handgun range with these older eyeballs. Good to hear on the accuracy aspect. I'll have to see what they can do on the price...

Have a blued model with the ports. As above, incredible rifle. I have a Leupold 2x7 mounted on mine, and with Garret's loads, it cuts a cloverleaf with three shots at 100 yds. Pretty substantial recoil with hotter rounds like Garrets or Buffalo Bore though. I happen to enjoy the extra "oomph"...

Local shop has a used Browning BLR in .30-06 with a Bushnell 3x9 scope. Asking $450. Really nice wood and looks like it was seldom used. Anybody have experience with these? Accuracy acceptable for this caliber in lever action? Is that a fair price?
