I'm planning on loading mid-range loads, using range brass. I do look over cases pretty well after tumbling, and again after priming. I'll settle on OAL by plunking the barrel (strange twist of words...), and expect to be slightly longer than what's in the manuals, but I don't know that yet...

The magazine "disconnect" on the SR9C might be a misnomer. There is a firing pin block that is active without a magazine inserted. In fact, I believe that they recommend that the gun NOT be dry fired without a magazine, as it can tend to damage the block.

Thanks for the replies all. I've got an email into Aim asking if these were drill rifles, if the cutoff is functional, etc. But no reply yet. And I thought a 1903A3 would cost at least $1000; am I wrong on this?
