A “lead away” cloth will do it all. Only use it on the face and inner window. Never use it on blues guns. FWIW I also stopped bothering and just use hoppes and a nylon brush to keep crud from thickening. It’s character of a well used revolver.
I have had my 1 1/8” mini mag convertible for years. I carry it on the ankle. I had one issue. In the manual it recommended in order to dry fire to remove the cylinder. So I would remove the cylinder and dry fire it to practice trigger control and follow ups. One time this broke the insides of...
Would you call just the branch you would have used? Or a corporate line? I may need to rent a car but won’t do business with companies “who take the other side”.
Yes. Another horrible issue with the gun control route is it isn’t going to stop mass shootings and kids are still at risk. This is worse. It’s sad. Like the govt can’t,won’t protect the kids all they can do is go after an inadimate object in desperation. I say armed teachers for the class room...
Yes. This is the advantage the anti’s have. Their laws don’t have to work. They just feel good and right and when they don’t work they use that as an excuse to go further. They act like it’s close but need more. The end game is confiscation. Pro gunners have a bigger hurdle. We can’t just...
Yes. I’m sick to death hearing of mass shootings and school shootings in particular. I have school aged kids I am a father. My soul wants to explode when I hear of these things. I’m pro second. If I thought gun control would work I’d be open to it. It won’t and I’m not. But having this...
I act older than I am and listen to am radio. A big hurdle fact for opposition to banning ar15s is the commonality of them. There are a lot. Both suppressors and machine guns were rare among the population during the 34’ act. If ar15’s were that rare they would be gone. My advice. Don’t waste...
When we sell the fact that ar15 semi auto rifles are just like any rifle, one pull of the trigger gets one bullet then go ahead and sell something like a bump stock that makes it act like a machine gun to those on the fence Does that sound like a smart move? The only good thing is it can be...
And on the bump stock. My take is
1) The ban is goofey. It has no relevance at all in stopping mass shootings but I don’t like bans in any form including this one. This is America! However;
2) The stocks themselves are goofey. They have no place in sport or defense. They make a gun more like a...
The way I see it is it’s never been more critical to get our pro gun based ideas out there on how to stop mass shootings. If not we will lose. This may seem hard to believe to us but there are a lot of people out there who generally don’t care about guns and dont see a problem with banning the...
We are not getting suppressors out of this. Devils advocate here. “What if the Vegas shooter had a suppressor and you couldn’t hear where they shots were coming from?”
I hope we get reciprocity, armed guards in schools or cpl in present gun free zones. I hope NOT that we get an assault...
IMO. Every one should have one long gun, one service size handgun and one cpl and or back up handgun. For me it’s mossberg 590, Ruger gp and an lcr. I’m a wheel gunner. This is just bare bones must haves. Once these three are possessed and funds available I would definitely have another list...
I've been using hks for years. Just recently picked up two Dade's and two comp11 for the gp. I'd carry either the comps or the hks for serious use. The Dade's are cool and retro but will drop rounds easy if dropped on that button. I feel just as fast with the hks as the safari land so far.
As I said I love the weapon except the price. I just initially disregard the “tactical” b s. The “tatical” wording does nothing for me. Market hype. I don’t like tatical. Yawn.
