I shoot the 300gr XTP at 1.610 ahead of 20.5gr of Lil'Gun - close to max load
Modeling your question in QuickLoad (which has proven accurate for .44 mag) give these data for H110, which seem to make sense:
OAL Charge Velocity Max Pressure
1.610 19.0gr 1,249fps 26,186psi
1.735...
Just about all the primer manufacturers are running at full capacity (and falling behind) to satisfy their government contracts. With the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, and especially all the training going on as units rotate in and out, the demand for primers and other ammo components is...
The only primer pockets I clean are on my .460 brass. Seems to me that revolver brass that goes straight from the cylinder to the bag isn't very likely to pick up stuff that would bother a carbide sizing die. Just the opposite would apprear to hold true for semi-auto handgun brass that winds...

.357 bear gun, huh? Well, you're lots braver than I am. 12 ga slug gun is the answer, as pointed out before. Or a certifiable hand cannon. I have a 5" barrel .460 S&W that fits that job description. A 300 gr XTP moving at something over 1,500 fps would get his attention pretty well. Which...
