I would just toss these and go with my normal loads not restrictive to 1700FPS on the Berry's, but I have 250 of them and a ton of red dot. so.....thx

"Red Dot in Reduced Rifle Loads" again....follow up

Ok, I know this has been covered... I have some berry's bullets in 30-30 that cannot go above 1700FPS...I have read that 13 grain is safe. I have also read that 9 grains works great. My question is what is the COL you guys were using? Just stay below min and not hit max? I was just concerned...

    Any Drilling/Combo Gun Shooters?

I would not buy the new 24 series. It is well worth it to find an older one, as they are better made and just awesome guns

    depressing :(

It is a vicious, cyclic chain where people are buying to hoard thinking it is not going to be available. It is getting ridiculous. When the ammo comes back in supply, which it will, the people who paid hundreds for bricks of 22 will be embarrassed.

Will "the panic" end before 2016?

I think the ammo will come back in 3-6 months. It put a hurt on the suppliers when all of their supply was exhausted. It will take some time to ramp back up, but hopefully this idiotic frenzy will subside. I fear that prices may never be the same though.

Anyone get replies from the Ruger mass emailing?

I have not, but I am going to call and write until they respond and I believe everyone should do the same.

    7+1 carry suggestions

Pm9 or Glock 36 I would also vote for Kahr Pm9 or Glock 36. You can get the plus 1 extension for the glock 36 mags to accommodate 7

    opinions on small 9mm pistols?

Pm9 I am partial to the Kahr Pm9 as well. Great pistol, conceals well. Accurate pistol. I wear it in an old faithful IWB holster.

    Recommend a good all-around defensive rifle (if I can't get an AR/M4)?

30-30 I would say a 30-30. You can kill anything with 2 legs and most with 4 and ammo is readily available. I think the 30-30 round is one of the best of all time. Some will disagree, but something cool about a lever action in 30-30.

Why I am in favor of a ban on high capacity gun magazines

yes, only bad guys use guns and limiting magazine capacity will make them obey. "2. I fully acknowledge that limiting gun magazines will not have any effect whatsoever on gun crimes in general. My reason for limiting them is specific to mass shootings. " Sounds like you went to the Dianne...
