Would you buy firearm responsible for a death?

True about the surplus. *Tried* to search for a similar topic. My apologies for any duplication.

Would you buy firearm responsible for a death?

Good point Smalls and Jeff. I suppose a suicide or murder might be different, but I don't think those firearms would be in circulation.

Would you buy firearm responsible for a death?

When shopping for a used firearm, would you be deterred from purchasing if you knew the weapon had fired a bullet/slug/shot that killed someone? I know it is really not the gun that is responsible, but the user. I don't buy into superstition, but personally, still wouldn't want one. On the...

Another Trip to Britain - Cops with no guns

So what can the average street cop in UK carry? Taser? Mace?

    Quality of Life

Nushif, just out of curiosity... If it were dark outside and there were an unexpected knock at your door, would you grab a firearm before answering? Maybe that's a way to measure your mindset at home?

    Quality of Life

I think there are some minds that are naturally (genetically or post-traumatically) at yellow, 24/7. You've brought up some very good points for the rest of us. People on here have been discussing dogs a lot lately. Some dogs are always at condition yellow, so you can be home at white.

I'm having trouble making a decision

On a different angle...Doing 'business' with a friend/family can sometimes ruin or put a damper on the relationship. You said he asked for the trade, but what if he is unhappy for whatever reason a year down the road? Now, if you have traded with him before, then why not. I just *try* to keep...

    Sanitizing guns

Most STD's are not a threat after a short while because they desiccate (dry out) very quickly. That's partly why you don't get STD's from some nasty toilet seats. Now, for something like E.coli, I would take off any wood/plastic and drop the metal into a bucket of alcohol. Leave it there for...

Interesting Story: Army to Test New 'Green' Bullets

Honest question out of ignorance...would a non-lead bullet be safer to game in a non-fatal shot? I really don't know if this is a concern or not, as I don't currently hunt.

Interesting Story: Army to Test New 'Green' Bullets

As someone who has been already exposed to waaay too many harmful chemicals at a previous workplace, I'm all for it.

    Any good safe recommendations

I bought off craiglist for around $250. It seems to be large enough for what you're wanting. Works well for my purposes, but...two caveats: Anyone with a small prybar and five minutes could bend the sheet metal. A LOT of people (including me) who get one 'new' in box, but from a questionable...

    Coins as targets

Looks like OP's question has been answered, but... A metal sphere has a few advantages over a coin/disc. 1) no matter which way it turns, you're always looking at its broad side 2) more aerodynamic, so it will be steadier in the wind 3) it's shape is structurally stronger, allowing it to last...

    The Handiest "Tactical" tools

I carry only a "tactical tweezer." The tweezer is a single piece of steel. It snaps in to a separate piece on my keychain, and the when attached, the whole thing is no larger than a key. Good for picking at things. Though it isn't sharpened, the edges are thin enough to cut box tape, and the...

Can a CC be obtained in another state?

Probably because Utah legislators are getting *grilled* in interviews, like the one I heard. It was on NPR though, so pretty liberal.

Can a CC be obtained in another state?

As deckard was saying...I heard on the news that Utah is by far the number one state to issue to non-residents.

    Buck Customer Service Disappointment

I haven't, as I'm lucky enough to live 20 minutes from AG Russle's store. I've always had a lot of luck returning things to walmart, even without a receipt. Never had to return an item they didn't stock in-store though. Sounds like you still don't have the new knife you should.
