Did you neck size the pulled cases? I full length resize all my pulled brass, I just take the primer pin out of the die. If you don't neck size your neck tension will not be sufficient and would surly suffer from setback in a FA gun..
Yeah your right, I think I'll keep it, it may grow on me, I don't really need another pistol, and with taxes coming I could just go buy anything really. Guess I had to ask to get slapped with a reality check, thanks.
I have a 1901 marlin 1897 lever action .22 I never use, it was my grandpas but I don't know if it was his grandpas or if it was one of his beater guns. I have been toying with the idea of trading it since I can't really put a monetary value on it. Anyway I've been offered a Springfield P9C 9mm...
Thanks guys, I have not got the brass yet its on the brown truck.......my M1A has not seen "new" brass in a long time. Obviously if its too long I need to trim, I was just seeing what others have had to do with this brass, its from Wideners BTW....
right, I know that the best bet would be to size, but I dont have a neck die for .308.....only a SB full length die, I guess I could take the decaping pin out and FL size.
I just ordered 500 pieces of NEW LC 7.62x51 primed brass, do I need to size the neck? I bought some new Winchester 30/30 once and had to full length resize to get it to chamber in my model 94. I will be shooting this out of a Springfield M1A. Also should I expect to have to trim it?
thanks,
John
+3, but I have reason to belive their online store is not to secure, seems every time I order my CC info gets swiped. May try a Pre Paid card next time
I don't know but my 5-0-5 started doing the same thing. I bet its just dirty. I am going to clean mine up really well, and check it on a level surface tonight and post the results.
Thanks for the help guys, the receiver is tapped for weaver mounts and there are screws filling the holes and they are straight inline with the sights.
I really like the rifle but need the $$$ for other things, mainly Ammo!
