I was reading an article that said the Glock 30SF wouldn't be a good candidate for +P ammo due to the heavy throating. Is this really an issue, or should I be comfortable in running +P rounds for defense?

This has already been posted before. Poor holsters and improper weapon handling can result in dangerous accidents. This is why equipment and knowledge of gun safety is important. Glock is not at fault here.
