I always crimp on a separate die, weather it is a roll crimp or a taper crimp. I have some of the lee 4 die sets that I use on my 550 Dillon and they have worked well for me.

EAA has interchangeable slides to convert the gun to different calibers.

I don't know what other models you have looked at, but for that price range you might consider the Rock Island Armory or The American Classic. Both have worked well for me.
