Instead of moving away from gun control states, should we move into them?

Hey HEXhead take it easy. Lol. I am just along for the ride. CT was already a sinking ship before I was able to vote. Haha. I doubt any CT residents on here are to blame. But your right. CT deserves what it has coming to them.

Instead of moving away from gun control states, should we move into them?

I'm not familiar with middle class. Technically Im under the poverty line. Maybe I should go on welfare. I do qualify.

Instead of moving away from gun control states, should we move into them?

It probably will. People in CT are leaving in droves to go south. The yuppy New Yorkers who aren't quite in the wealthy bracket are moving to CT cuz it's cheaper. The demographic in CT has changed light years in the 26 years I've spent here. Massachuesettes is next and I'm sure New Hampshire...

2nd Amendment lost in CT today

Well what I meant by overwhelming support is that it was asked for and wanted by the majority. Sorry. Either way. If you guys think you can convince every stay at home soccer mom in the state that guns are great then go for it. You are barking up the wrong tree. I swear I get pulled over on a...

2nd Amendment lost in CT today

The thing you guys are overlooking is that these laws passed with overwhelming support. And the laws are designed to make it even harder to get rid of. So do we need to move in a couple hundred thousand gun nuts to sway the outcome of the voting? CT can't be voted back without a MASSIVE change...

Instead of moving away from gun control states, should we move into them?

You guys really know how to make someone hate their life. Stupid connecticut. Please move back. Help us! Lol. You guys speak the truth. I've been trying to get out of CT for a few years now but it's one obstacle after another. Mainly money. The union I was in tanked and now I make 300 ucks a...

Can anyone shed some light on the 7.62x54r?

An ar chambered in 54r would be pretty sick. And any bolt gun really. People always say the added kick over a standard .308 makes people fatigue faster but what's the diff. Tiring out after shooting a few dozen 54r rounds or taking a .308 out and only being able to shoot a few dozen because you...

Can anyone shed some light on the 7.62x54r?

Surplus can run out but I have a few hundred rounds of hornady 54r that I can walk into any store and buy as much as I can carry out. There's a lot of new rounds out there that can and have met demand. I just figured a 7.62x54r rifle would be a nifty alternative to .308, especially admist the...

Can anyone shed some light on the 7.62x54r?

I was just thinking. Ammo is hard to find and expensive. 7.62x54r is quite available at least in my area. I don't know much about ballistics but I'd assume the 54r and the .308 have similar characteristics. If the 54r would be just as adequate at hitting targets at ranges that the .308 is why...

We can only buy 100 at a time and you need to flash your pistol permit. Very few stores are shipping to CT anymore too. So the numbers of people flocking to the storesfor ammo is way up.

How far do you drive to shoot if at all?

Ranges around here go from $400 a year to $600 a year with long waiting lists. Only 2 ranges I know of even go past 100 yards. One of those is 300 yards. Most people I know drive up to Maine or Vermont and find a good spot to shoot. Easily a 3-4 hour drive

That's awesome of you. Made their days. It's rough. My friends both just got their permits but they are stumped when it comes to a pistol to buy. Almost any guns they buy will be more useful as a tomahawk than a firearm.

I'm just frustrated. Wanting to buy guns but they ed up being safe queens because you can't find ammo. I have around 1000 rounds for my 10/22 but I don't wanna start shooting that up. And buying a several hundred dollar rifle that I can't find ammo for would piss me off. It's bad enough I got to...
