Before moving to Illinois last year, my EDC was a Sig 229 and then when I got my Dan Wesson V-Bob I started carrying that only. The V-Bob, while bigger, was much easier to conceal and more comfortable to carry. I carry in a Cross Breed SuperTuck.
I'm sorry, but it seemed to me like WLP could not directly answer some of the questions asked of him without going back to his talking points. He sounded exactly like a politician. I mean really, what does curbing gang violence have to do with answering a question about stopping mass shooters...
Before people start spouting off pop psychology and not facts like the left likes to do with gun info, it seems like the most recent reports are that the killer had Aspergers Syndrome which is similar to Autism. Manyt individuals with Aspergers are very high functioning but socially awkward. It...
One of the primary treatments for PTSD is CBT with prolonged exposure therapy. Exposure is exactly that...exposure to stimuli that generate a negative response in order to correct that cognitive malfunction.
I also have an FNP 45 and regularly shoot Federal ammo and haven't had any problems with it. It is dirty, but at least it's not as bad as Tula or Wolf. It is also nice that it actually feeds through the FNP since WWB will not feed reliably. I typically shoot Federal or Blazer at the range.

I have a 229 enhanced elite and love it. Only problem I have is sitting down with it...the beaver tail gets a little bothersome if I wear it during a long car ride. I don't have any issues with finger bite.
I've got a sig 229 enhanced elite that has the bobtail. When I'm sitting down the bobtail sometimes sticks into my side. I still carry it most of the time though.
An FNP 45.
1. My FNP 45 has been 100% reliable with every ammo except WWB.
2. It is a full size gun. Holds 14-15 rounds depending on which mags you get.
3. SA/DA trigger. Its a decent trigger
4. You can get them new with 3 mags in the $500-$600 range.
Most of the time I am out of the house I'm either at school or at the gym...both places that prohibit firearms. I do not like leaving my gun locked in the car so I leave it at home in the safe. If, however I am going out with my wife and don't plan on having more than 1 drink, I am almost always...
