I just fixed them.

Bought some Hornady 17 hornet brass from cabelas. The burrs inside the flash holes just about plugged up the hole. Primer pockets were not deep enough. I've never seen brass so bad.

My ar, colt, never has a hickup until I load the rounds a little stiff. Gun lets me know that its to much. Back off powder a bit and runs like a deere.

Don't know who makes them, but mine came from dillon. Suppress the loud noises without shutting off. If they quite working, will go get another.

Marlin 1895 45-70. To replace the one I sold a few years ago. Only gun I wish I had back. So I replaced it. Sure needs some work., Trigger etc.

Buying online a person does not have to put up with the gun store commandos. Some of these guys are real hard to put up with. Some day when I retire I just wish I know half as much as these guys think they do.

Go with the Marlin xs7 in 243. I've got one that is more accurate than anything I own. I have several rifles that cost WAY more than the Marlin. And it out shoots them all. tom
