    Steve's Pages are gone

You have more faith in malicious software removal tools than I! If something malicious is installed on your computer, the only safe and effective way to remove it is to format the hard drive and start over. Any thing less is an exercise in self deception.

Looking for a Low cost HD and possibly CCW Hand gun.

I've been a Glock fan boi for some time now, love my Glock 19. However, I just picked up a Steyr M9A1 and love it! Probably the best kept secret in handguns today. The trigger pull is awesome and with the low barrel axis and grip angle, muzzle flip is very minimal. Purchased from Robertson...

Galco King-Tuk - Makes My Drawers Fall Down

I had a similar problem when I carried using a "heavy" Carhart belt, also. I always thought the Carhart belt was thick with good support. Then I stepped up and purchased a couple of A&G Custom Gun Leather belts. No more problem. Yes, the belt is a very important part of the equation, more...

    Pocket guns

+1 for Kahr P380 Break-in on my P380 was a little touch and go. Now that I have 350 rounds through it, I love it. Don't forget that other important part of the equation, the holster. Regardless of your choice of handgun, I highly recommend the Mika pocket Holsters. He will custom make for...

SWFA SS 10x42 or Bushnell Elite Tactical 10x40

I currently have the SWFA on my AR-15 223/5.56 and it works very well! I would highly recommend that scope for your application. If and when you do move up to the 223 platform, it will perform admirably for you. Good luck with you decision and have a healthy, safe holiday season!

Getting a Concealed Carry Permit, seeking advice.

+1 to the recommendation for The Gun Digest Book of Concealed Carry. Anything by Masaad Ayoob should be studied in great depth. Please keep in mind that your mindset can be just as important, if not more important, than any choice of handgun, holster, belt or ammo. Podcasts can also be a good...

Advice needed on a pocket pistol

I have a Taurus PT-22, also. Purchased for my daughters to get a feel for handguns. Don't know as I have found an ammo choice yet that I am fully comfortable with for self defense use. Had several incidents where the ammo FTF, yet there was a witness mark that showed it was struck each time...

Best IWB holster for Glock 19?

With a lot of car time, you should consider the Andrews Custom Carjacker. Crossdraw attaches to seat belt, keeps gun readily accessible while seated. And awesome construction to boot!

    Pistol safe recommendation/opinions?

I have the V-Line safe and am very satisfied with it. A few selling points for it: no batteries to fail, no need for a back-up key for kids to find, key pad is very user friendly and can be operated in the dark, can easily fit into a drawer or be bolted down. It is a nice small safe in which I...

    Glock 26 Concealability?

I carry both a G19 and a S&W 642. The Glock is on the belt and the S&W is on the ankle as a BUG. Have no issues concealing either handgun. There are many holsters out there that do a great job. Equally important is a good quality belt. Andrews Custom does a fantastic job, as pointed out by...
