Cm9 is a fantastic pistol. However when the g43 came out it mainly stays in the safe. I prefer the glock trigger. Never had a single problem with the cm9. I would reccomend it it you like the long smooth type trigger.
Pacer dude I don't feel under gunned with the Kahr but it's substantially different than carrying my sigs or even my Glocks.
Good luck on getting your strength back and getting back to health.
I've been carrying eight plus years now. Over that period of time I've changed a lot. I've learned a lo and researched a lot. I've also developed degenerative disc disease in my back.
I've carried: all steel guns, polymer guns, high capacity guns, and ive carried 9MMS to 10MMS.
Now that I...
The xd series are fine pistols. I like the feel in my hand better than the glock, but I prefer the glock trigger as the xd feels mushy to me. The m&p LINE is great too. I own all three and like all three lines. Heck I carry a Kahr most of the time now, all that said there is no right or wrong on...
Rugers CS goes above and beyond to ensure the satisfaction of their customers. I have experienced that first hand. Every gun show i attend i buy something with Rugers trademark on it: wheather it be a cap, or, a t shirt, or a sticker and I own a couple of Ruger firearms.
Congrats on getting a...
Stuff like this is so ignorant.
Whats the logic behind disarming law abiding citizens in favor of arming criminals.
Part of me feels helpless, being governed by such idiots..
Another thing that could be happening is; people who currently have a diagnosis and are medicated properly stop their meds and doctor visits cold turkey.
Hoping that they can get "out of dodge" before the heat gets on them about being treated.
People being black listed for mental illness seems...
Individuals who are diagnosed with a mental health issue, and are being treated and properly medicated dont concern me.
Individuals not properly medicated or actively seeking help on the other hand is concerning.
Its such a slippery slope.
Bi polar for example, what disqualifies a bi polar...
A cm9 is only slightly bigger than a small 380. Its lite weight, dependable, and accurate.
As far as a .380 i would say the kahr p380. If you don't want to put out that kind of money, kahr also has the cw.380 thats just as small and reliable. The cw is at a lower price point.
Your looking a atleast 1100 on the p220. In my opinion its worth every penny. My p220 was made in 2012 and i have no problems from it what so ever.
Its been realiable, its not picky about ammo and its super accurate.
Its perfect for nightstand duty but for me a little to heavy to carry.
It is...
I love my sig 1911, just want something more traditional looking.
My lgs has a stainless colt gold trophy cup for $1085......I think it was.
So at least I'm narrowed down to the trp and the colt.
I know I'm getting a great warranty and great customer service with the trp.
I know zero about colt...
I came to THR as a complete newbie and knew essentially nothing.
So THR strong armed me into getting: my pistols, my rifles, my shotguns, the ammo they eat, holsters, belts, and a gun safe.:D
I completely overlooked the E series by s&w. I've seen them on YouTube and read reviews, but for what ever reason I haven't thought about it, thank you for that.
The smith sure is nice looking. Should I go with the s&w I will have to order it.
I won't get to hold it or rent one.
I can't seem...
Thanks guys for the advice thus far.
I understand its sort of an expensive plinker, but Im trying to kill two birds with one stone.
Something to enjoy the the .45acp round with and to have a nice 1911. It will most likely be my last 1911 because i have a lot of intrest in various firearms.
I...
