I picked up some Winchester Super X 147grain 9mm ammo at a gun show a couple weeks ago.
Usually I shoot the WWB 115gr ammo and am just wondering if anyone thinks that this ammo will be a bit too rough on my PT24/7. I'm sure it will be fine since the pistol is approved for +P ammo as well...
Well I have been searching for the ultra-rare Vektor CP-1 for over a year now. In the past year I had seen only 3 for sale and missed my chances at snatching one up.
If you don't know the story behind these guns: they came out in the late 90s and were recalled in 2000 because a small...
I have the Closing Argument from highnoonholsters.com , great holster! they make lots of them for the 24/7. also, the last post is incorrect. the fobus XD does not fit the 24/7 rather i belive it is a ruger model that will work. also if u search on ebay there are usually a few that pop up.
lennyjoe- u had the original 24/7 not the pro right? im intersted to hear what the trigger on this one is like. shouldnt need smoothing with a short pull.
I still cant believe that the name of this drill is correct. Have any of you been to Mozambique? I have, theres no way that those skinnys could hit someone with the first 3 shots let alone with the speed and accuracy discussed here. and they probably all had AKs not pistols.
I remember taking...
i remember seeing a post awhile ago from a guy who was charged by a black bear and drew his desert eagle 50AE and the thing just dropped. I remember he said it cracked bone and just kept on going.
What do i think?
honestly, I think shot placement is the bottom line. A bear skull wont even...
I cant answer as to why Taurus isnt marketing to LE agencies, but they are going after Glock's market.
Have you seen their ad for the 24/7??? It's a direct comparison to Glock and how the 24/7 has more features in every way and then says "you call that perfection?"
I think the 24/7/mil pro...
and we all know that if the LE community doesnt use it, then its not the best
I was stopped by the cop the other day and we got to talking about our pistols. He was issued a glock 40 and said "its alright i like it more than our old berettas", then after inspecting my 24/7 said...
1. How can one complain about the number of controls "sticking out there"???
oh you mean take down, slide release, and safety?? oh man thats way to many for my simple mind to handle?
2. Listen to MrTuffPaws he knows his stuff, dont get the normal series as they had some problems stick with...
I dont know how anyone can complain about field stripping a millenium or 24/7!!!!!!!!???
SLIDE BACK
PIN OUT
SLIDE OFF
SPRING OUT
BARREL OUT
WOW THAT WAS HARD!
I can do it in 24 seconds blindfolded! and reassemble in 45 seconds. So i think you all just need a little practice. The...
exactly, i carry my taurus 24/7 and I too cannot make that thing jam. I know its a little large for carry by comparison to many other guns but i KNOW it will always work.
