    which Savage

You didn't say what caliber you are going with, but if you check the Savage Arms model list, there are drop-downs for the different chambering options for all the rifles they offer, since it is a little confusing. I have a pre-accutrigger Model 110e (Long Action) that I would like to replace...

The worst ammunition you've ever shot?

+1. Remington Thunderbolt .22LR. Very dirty, 1 out of 10 won't go bang. Have had some squib on me as well.

I may have to give mine up.... I am in the middle of the Big "D" :( Yes, this is gun related.... If I lose them I will be bummed. But, they are replaceable.... to a degree. Please, carry on. Great pics, Guys! :)

    The H&H Magnums

Some really nice rifles, gentlemen. Glad to see this thread revived :). For those who wonder: The kick on the .300 H&H Mag. is appreciable, but not nasty. Crisp, solid; but controllable. Mine is in storage currently. I hope to change it back to a wood stock. Not a fan of synthetics...

    My favorite public range is...

This is one of my favorites...... Although, I like this one as well :). Have to arrive early at these places to get a good spot at one of the concrete tables. Watch out for the brass buzzards, if you want to save your brass ;)

    Hope for America

This is a good first step. I hope it leads to more changes in the future to reduce the burden on the good citizens of Illinois to obtain and carry; especially in Chicago.

    Gun control/registration goes into effect

Well said, +1 for me :). It's not easy living here, knowing that our votes rarely count and the officials elected do not represent our ideals. That does not alter the fact that we have not given up and will continue to support our rights in any way possible.

    Ammo Shortage

Like Midwest, mine is all stacked up in a closet. I won't say how much or what I paid. Suffice it to say it was before '08. Remington and CCI bricks. I will be plinking for a long time.... :)

When will ammo prices come down?

Good poll, valid question. I voted 6 mos., but I think I agree with others who have pointed out that the market will bear higher prices, due to the panic and continuing fears of bans and restrictions (which are not unfounded, just not realized as of yet). Even reloading supplies are being...

    New NRA Slogan?

First one is good, second vid ftw. Gets right to the point. Have and do these run on ANY network/channel? If so, which?

    Any hams here with HF?

Tech. license here as well. Even though I got my ticket when you had to take 2 tests to get it; I am aware of the "plus" privileges we have now. I have a Kenwood TS-520 w/remote VFO. First yr. model, 12v capable, no WARC bands. Sadly, CCR's prevent me from having a good antenna. I am mostly on...

This Russian Learned a Lesson from The Reds

Thanks for sharing the link. It is always interesting to hear how others view the U.S, from the "outside", if you will. Even if it is from the so-called "former" Soviet Union.

What rifle do you shoot the most?

Rimfire .22lr Marlin 60 & Ruger 10/22 carbine ;) . Cheap and fun to shoot. Have to go easy on the center fire stuff for now :what:, $$ is tight.

What percentage of your guns are "synthetic"?

Wood & blued steel: 5 total Tupperware: 0 Maybe in the future. I really like shooting the Sig P229 in .40 Smith. That gun is smooooth :D. Synthetic stock: 1 long gun, barrel is blued steel as well as the receiver. Actually, if I had a wood stock, the darn thing would be even heavier.

    Holland & Holland Film

Cool video. High production value, that's for sure. A lot of H&H product placement. Love seeing the barrels being put together, fitting a customer for LOP and the cannon fire at the end. Thanks for sharing :D .
