I have an older CZ compact with the glossy blue finish, and it is a really deep, gorgeous blue. I guess years of polishing (before me) helped it get that way. I have a newer CZ 75 B that's glossy, but it lacks the lustre of the older one. What can I use to bring out that higher smooth shine...

I find myself reaching for my XD 45 for CCW on inclement days because of the plastic factor. Usually, I have my CZ with me, though. Does it make a difference with anyone else... or am I just the weirdo my wife says I am? :D
