Has anyone tried using the Angled Foregrips from Magpul? I'm considering a foregrip solution for my SIG556 SBR but have held off because I've always found the vertical grips awkward to hold.
I like to hold the weapon in the crook between the hand guard and the magazine well. The position...
I assume you've seen the Big Horn Armory Model 89 Lever-Action 500 S&W Magnum Carbine? This thread is a little old so this may be old news by now. There is a good review of it at GunBlast.
Not doing anything and keeping them stored safe and discretely is an option I am considering. I certainly don't plan to do something that would require that I be investigated ... but you know how uncle Murphy can be. I figured if I do something that would make them legal to own if disassembled...
I own a Smith & Wesson M&P 15 which was originally purchased in CA with a bullet button (ugh) which I promptly removed when I came out here. I guess that would have to got back in unless I could totally disassemble the weapon and have the "parts" legally.
That's great news. I placed an...

Sig 556 SBR
AR-15 w/out...

Good question ... I would imagine so. It doesn't seem to matter where or how you shorten the weapon if at the end of the day it is less that 16" you have created an SBR. Am I missing something?
I am waaaay late to this conversation, but in case someone else comes across it as I did I'll add my 2-cents. There are two options not mentioned already and I have both and enjoy shooting both.
The first is the H&K USC chambered in 45 ACP. This is by far my favorite pistol caliber carbine...
