    I don't know if you want used or not, but I have a Glock 23 I bought used for $400 and I just bought a 27 that was used but never fired for $400. I love them both. Just keep an eye out for a good deal. This is assuming that you have the time to look.

    St. Louis CCW - Quick Question...

    Just make sure you don't at the arch. It is a National Park and weapons are not allowed. I climbed all of the stairs up to the arch from the river and when I got to the door, they have a Xray to check you in. I had to run back down and up the stairs to leave my gun before I could go in.

    P-3AT vs. J-frame ?

    Both my Kel-Tecs have been 100%. BTW I have a P11 and a P3AT and the triggers are not the same. The P3at has a nice short 5.5# pull and the P11 does have a long 8.5# pull but mine is smoothing out very nice.

    new (to me, at least) shotgun weirdness

    I have an old Mossberg 16 bolt action shotgun. It has a clip that holds 2 + 1 in the chamber. I have always heard it called a "Goose Gun" because it can only hold 3.
