    Two Rare Flying Colts

Some years back, I saw a vintage holster for one of these at the Antique Arms Vegas show sold for a couple thousand on its own. Todd.

    Smith and Wesson New Century

Meant entirely Tonge-in-cheek. I've never seen a two digit S&W before and thought it was damn cool. Todd.

    Two Rare Flying Colts

I used to note back in the 80's-early 90's that about twice a year at a gunshow, someone would have an *authentic* Aircrew S&W. Of course, the gossip would immediately begin as to whether or not it was an actual AC S&W. I never took much note as the prices were always around the value or 6-8...

Mini-30 and Hornady Steel Case Ammo

That's an interesting tack to take. Now, I'm more curious than ever. I'm unlikely to be a buyer for steel case but it'll be good to know should some show up at an estate sale. Todd.

    Seating the ball

    ... can confirm! Todd.

Mini-30 and Hornady Steel Case Ammo

I can't speak to the Hornady but the Russian was absolute hell on extractors. Likely the lacquer on the Russian and I don't know how or if Hornady even bothers with that. Todd.

A short tribute to George L. Herter

Used to have a barbershop-gun shop in our town growing up well north of *The Cities* that would order-in from many places acting somewhat like a Sears Catalog Store for sporting goods. The shop would be littered with everything from Shotgun News to actual Holland & Holland catalogs and order...

    Bersa thunder 380. Thoughts?

Very good pistol. When I decided to stop collecting .32s & .380s and sold them off. Away went the Walthers and the Bersa remains. FOR ME: The controls far surpass any Walther that I've had. The fill-to-hand feeling is outstanding with a reasonable and very worthwhile *beavertail*. Mags drop...

    Interesting photo, ID of gun?

I'd sure like to know what was in her holster. Todd.

What do you expect to do with a sword

    Sure.... NOW I do. Todd.

But I don’t like SPAM! - Ammo Alerts going to Spam Folder

The only gun related SPAM I can respect: Todd.

    Two Rare Flying Colts

I had no idea that the *aircrew* had an aluminum cylinder. How could that few ounces have really mattered? What madness. Todd.

CCRKBA: ‘Seattle Police Blotter Blows Holes in Gun Control Myth’

Yup... The phrase: "Gun Control" is about 50% honest. I doubt that anyone in the history of man has ever successfully controlled any aspect of a society successfully and then stopped there by choice. Control one thing, then lift and shift fire and control the next thing that you; don't...

But I don’t like SPAM! - Ammo Alerts going to Spam Folder

I've opened them. What I meant to convey was that by the time that I do - the items are all gone. Todd.

    Seating the ball

I like them low enough that when I throw some bear grease in there the ball is completely covered. But then too, I really like a messy firing iteration. Keeps the spectators and kibitzers at bay.:D Todd.

    CVA Cascade . . .

I wonder if their *support* option might not be able to clear things up a bit for you? Todd.

But I don’t like SPAM! - Ammo Alerts going to Spam Folder

It's immaterial for me as I have yet to open an ammo-gun email, since covidiocy, in time to take advantage of the offers. I'll just call it money saved, I guess. And on a side note. If you don't like SPAM - you probably haven't tried it properly fried! Todd.

    Interesting photo, ID of gun?

The grip is fairly standard. You can't really reach around the drum effectively. If you try to awkwardly hold it by the side the rise and slant is almost impossible to control and to have your hand too far forward is certainly going to earn a burn. Also, given manufacturing tolerances and...

Clever. I'm going to crib that. Todd.

    Bead?

Say, on a side note.... can you tell me how many fishing-inches are in an internet-yard? Is it still 36? I mean, should the need to do a conversion ever come up. "So, there I was on the side of the road, popping carp in the ditch. Now, these carp were at least ***** inches long and about *****...
