I'm very interested in the accuracy of these inserts. I don't see much in the way of serious (bench/scope/real targets) accuracy testing anywhere on the web. I think I may need to pick up an/some adapters and give it a shot. This thread has the best info I could find. What distance were the...
Why yes! yes, I have. Conceals the same though? I don't think so. The holster sticks below the belt! Certainly conceals better than OWB, since the belt is there to hold it much tighter to my carcass.
Outside, 9mm concealed carry, because small and capacity.
.45 inside my house, because lower pressure, larger bullet, and it doesn’t matter how big my pistol and magazine is if I’m not carrying it on my belt!
You’re going to need a footnote for that one.
Otherwise, I’m mostly with you. .300 feeds and stacks in AR mags more efficiently. Subsonic .300 is only better ballistically than .45 ACP by the slimmest of margins for close range defensive use.
I picked up a few of these a few weeks ago. I have no idea how to tell if they are Chinese or not, but they look like they are pretty decent boxes. Gaskets appear decent.
Yep. Totally archaic. I forgot that the term and abbreviation "DAO" existed in the common vernacular as I was typing. Even if I had remembered the term and spelled it out, it would have been less typing. However(!), now we all know what a triple-action revolver is (or was).
A revolver that can either be separately cocked or fired with a double-action trigger. When the old S&W top breaks existed, it was a fairly common label. I just wanted to make it clear that I'd be happy with either a double action revolver with a shrouded hammer or one that could be cocked...
Yeah, that was it. I'm now more hopeful for the NAA release... Bring on the top-break double/triple action .32 ACP six shooter! I'd be happy with either. I can dream, can't I?
