Because it violates the law as written. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun-Free_School_Zones_Act_of_1990 http://www.usacarry.com/forums/politics-and-news/7837-concealed-carry-reciprocity-currently-banned-under-federal-law-important.html

Everyone here that has been out of state has violated the Gun Free School Zone Act while carrying a legally concealed handgun.

Yep. It's the Justice Industry and it makes a lot of money for millions of people.

    Felons and guns

Felons being barred makes a lot of gun owners feel better about themselves for some reason. For thinking individuals, they realize that .gov permanently taking away your Rights for trivial matters was going to be problematic. And it shows. Now it's extended to misdemeanor offenses and simple...

so anyone gonna be using a 30-30 this year?

Probably #1 reason is that the forend was mucked up with sandpaper by some previous owner.:( Other than that it would give a lot more options for sling mounts, flashlights, and other accessories.

so anyone gonna be using a 30-30 this year?

I'm going to be honest. I love blue steel and walnut. But. If Magpul made a MOE forend for my old 336 i'd buy one. They'd need to keep it slender.

    Florida SB-344 and SB300 tomorrow

The arrest of the Koran burning pastor was another example. I wouldn't be surprised of accidental exposure arrests were the same or went up after that foolishness passed in 2011.

    .45 Colt vs .30-30 winchester

I'd go .45 Colt for your started uses. Any of the common lever action round will work well though. At least for smokeless powder. .35 Remington would be great as it lets you use common and cheap handgun bullets for messing around at the range and other loads can easily get you deer out to 200...

    Florida SB-344 and SB300 tomorrow

It wasn't difficult to see back in 2011 that the "fix" was total nonsense. It did absolutely nothing since everything was up to officer interpretation. Most LEO weren't going to arrest someone because their shirt was blow up by the wind. Those the would were still going to arrest.

Only carry 3 rounds in your carry gun?

I use to serve those "special ops" people when I tended bar.

The .38 special FBI load: still the best?

When I bought my 642 I picked up boxes of 135 GDs($26/50) and the new Remington FBI load($19/50). Golddot group size was half that of the FBI load so that's what gets carried. Either one will likely get the job done.

M1 Carbine w/Softpoints vs. AR with your Favorite Ammo

The AR wins in pretty much all areas. But if you have a reliable M1 that you shoot well there's nothing wrong with it. Just like there's nothing wrong with a Marlin 1894, or similar, .357 in the same role.

But, tell a lie enough and people will believe it.

2.3" or shorter cartridges made from 12mm/308 brass?

I'm not getting where x39 reloading components are uncommon. You can buy new brass, once fired brass, brass ammo all day long. Probably for a similar price of .308 brass. Bullets are common as well.

How do we get a National Right to Carry Law enacted?

It's certainly NO. The potential benefits, which are few, aren't worth the risk of letting the feds ring in. If the legislation isn't going to help people behind the lines carry it's doing little or nothing for most people. If it does deal with those people and the feds set standards it's...

How do we get a National Right to Carry Law enacted?

Stop being a drama queen. Not wanting to get the feds involved for minimal to no benefit for most people is a far cry from "I hate the government and don't want any laws about anything!"
