Reloader 16 what do y’all use it for?

Use it in your 6.5 Creedmoor it will love it and I use it in mine exclusively of course now it is hard to find.

    Digital Scales

I have the AutoTrickler Combo + FX-120i it is a great set up with a learning curve but it beats anything I have used before - I purchased it from CE Products which had the best-combined price that I could find

    .223 rough chambering..

Broken line - the thread seems to wonder off your question. You need to use a case gauge to make sure that your sizing die is set properly. If your chamber is a bit oversized you will need to full length size fired rounds. The shoulder needs to be in specs, if it isn't your bolt won't close or...

    UltraSonic cleaning solution alternative?

Ultra Sonic cleaners work, it didn't replace my tumbler because I still like shiny brass, but it works, especially for the inside of the case. Citric Acid is used in canning, I find it at bulk food stores. You can also find it at health food stores but it is very pricy when they put it in little...

    Washing Brass

Birchwood casey makes a case cleaner that I used years ago before I had a tumbler. It works well as I recall. I now use a solution of citric acid, dishwasher detergent and water to clean cases, after removing the primers, in an ultrasonic cleaner, before sizing, expanding, trimming, and polishing.

    Powder for 357 magnum

2400 is my go-to powder in 357, that said I just picked up some Powder Pro 300-MP because of an article by Brian Pierce in Hand loader #274.

Favorite powder for both .223 AND .308

Varget - Great in my 308 bolt gun - one of my ARs really likes near max loads and I am working on finding the right load for a couple of others.

Any non reloaders struggling to put .45acp down range?

Yes 14.99 per 50 - Go to Google search for reeloading/bullet suppliers, you will find many dealers that carry reloading supplies. Midwest, Natchez, etc. . Reloaders try many brands to find the one that does the job the reloader wants - Speed, power, accuracy, cheepness, etc.

    .45lc vs .44mag ruger blackhawk

I reload so both are excellent choices for Deer. As noted the 45 has a larger cross section, however the 44 mag can be loaded to a much higher pressure = more velocity, better ballistics. I shoot more 45s than 44s but hunt with the 44, so take you pick and enjoy.

Bill Wilson Carry vs. Dan Wesson CCO?

I don't think you would go wrong with either one. I was bit by the same bug months ago and have saved the cash to get a Wilson, but I just can not seem to pull the trigger (pun intended) - it is just a LOT of money. That said, if I could find a decent used one, it would be tempting. When I was...

    Talk me into a handgun.

You will not go wrong with a P229 and they have several models to chose from - I like the looks of the Enhanced Elite. I would have tried to talk you into a 1911 in 9 mm, but most of the ones I would have suggested run more than the Sig.

Which caliber would you trust your life with?

9 mm and above or in the case of the list below.

    Disappointed with a CZ75B today.

Stick with your Glock! I agree on your appraisal of the CZs I always wanted one until I owned one. It was not a bad gun, it worked, it was accurate, I just did not like it.

    Good entry 1911 carry

Keep researching and looking and dreaming. The Tactical Pro is a nice gun, lots of features , but it is light and the lighter the 45 the more the barrel flip. All that means is practice, as you noted. Be sure to look at a Bob tailed commander length 45 ( Ed Brown, Dan Wesson, or Smith), you may...

Polymer vs steel handguns which fo you prefer?

Steel - That really says it all. Polymer appeared to keep cost down, and it did. I own one (1) Glock, it is reasonably accurate, it never jams, it is easy to clean and it sits in the safe most of the time, because I like steel much better.

Why not much talk about STI?

STI makes a nice gun! Their 2011 (widebody) is a competition orientated, high capacity, modular tool and they do 1911 single stack tools too. Frames are polymer, cast, and forged. Models are gun game compliant as listed on their web site. They offer a lot of gun for the money, and purchasers can...

If Glocks are so wonderful why so many generations?

Glocks are Glocks. Polymer allows the addition of lower rails, changeable back straps, different colors, different textures, etc. Bottom line, you can sell more guns if you give people the options they seem to want. What generation 1911 are we on?

    What Sights for Glock

I have factory night sights on my Glock 19, they work well. I have XS Big Dots on my Kahr, took a while to get used to them , but they too are nice too. Big Dots are not for precise work. but are fast. Line them up, cover the target, pull the trigger.

    32 acp

Decision made, now just practice. Personally I carry a Kahr K9, not because it is 9 mm, but because I shoot it well. My 32 is a J Frame 327 Federal Magnum, it shoot well also.

    First Guns

Your choices are sound. The Ruger will shot, once you find the 22 ammo it likes ( they all like something and it is fun finding out which brand) and is a good trainer. A Glock will work well with a variety of ammo, they are easy to shot and clean . A 627 is good gun, but also look at the...
