    Hot deal on s&w 66 trade-in's

JohnBT How do I know J&G paid $200.00. I've been in the gun buying and selling business a very long time. They are going to make well over 100% on these weapons. They buy these lot price at auction. There is no way they would pay more for these used guns and shipping and the other cost for the...

Looking for a .357 for concealed carry

Simple answer. Get a Ruger Spped Six. 2 3/4 in weapon. It will be the best gun going. Dont doubt me on this.

    Hot deal on s&w 66 trade-in's

What you see, is no where near as to what you get. And to pay that for a used gun. Come on. J&G dosen't have more then $200.00 into these guns. $325.00 I might look at them, but not at the asking price they want. Good luck to whoever buys one.

    Gun Magazines You'd Read

Gun magazines are the thing of the past. Guns & Ammo , Shooting Times, Petersens Hunting. All these were great gun magazines at one time. Now they aren't worth the ink that is used to print them. Most are filled will advertisments. And there is no substance to what is left. All the good/great...

GARBAGE WEAPON! That is, if you can call it a weapon. A#1 TRASH. I owned one, I speak from experience. Loose it, trash it.:)

Has this Obama/Pelosi ammo market turned you from a shooter to an ammo hoarder?

Lookout boys!!! And girls if you are on this site. If we as conservatives loose this election. Ammo will vanish off the shelves. Reloading componants will vanish also. And what is left, and what does make it back onto the shelves will be priced like an oz. of gold. Obama is waiting to strike at...

    S&W model 19 or 66?

Its a $300.00 gun at best. Never pay retail or more for a weapon. And from a Pawn Shop I would never pay anything they wanted.

Saving for a Taurus .44 SPC 2.5" Stubby

EB1 I own a Rossi 720 as well. I am carrying it as I write this. It is my daily CCW. Mine was hammerless as well. I didn't like that feature, so I bought a hammer and replaced it. I would not part with this weapon for anything. It is a true shooter. I keep it stoked with Blazer Gold Dots. For...

.44 Special "Frontal Area" vs .45 ACP

Come on. Is it really that important to compare these two? The difference is so miniscule that no one could tell the difference if they were to see someone shot. It isn't like comparing a 22 and a 44/45

Saving for a Taurus .44 SPC 2.5" Stubby

There isn't a 44 Special I'd buy today for a self defense weapon. The Blackhawk/Vaquero are ok if you want single action. I own a Rossi 720 and a Taurus 431. Both wear a 3 in barrel. My Rossi is a fixed sight version.. I replaced the hammer with a spur. I did not like the hammerless that came...

    Who loves your .357 magnums?

I have four 357's. I love each one,. Shoot them also. I carry my Speed Six quite regular as my CCW. It is a boomer. But I know if I do my job, the weapon and round I use will do its. I am a "Wheel Gun" shooter. I do own Glock and a 1911 ACP. But it is the six shooter that I really rely on.

What .44 Special Load Equals .45 ACP?

I believe that the 200 grain CCI Gold Dot will do the job as a comparison. Yes it is 30 grains lighter, but it will hold its own in muzzle velocity, and energy compared to the 230 grain wonder ammo for the 45acp. Both are great calibers. Both will drop a bad guy. Defense ammo is more plentyful...

    .44 Special vs. .45 ACP

Why do people get trapped into these discussions of 45/44 0r 357/45. Blah-bla-blah. The 44 Special is an awesome self defense round. Just as is the 45 ACP. In a revolver the 44 Special wold be the better of the two. Why? Because it can handle greater pressure loads if you are into that stuff...

    Best .45 revolver

Based on what you say you want to do with this weapon, You may want to lokk at a S&W 25-5. 4IN / 6IN BARREL. Double/Single action weapon. Great for target shooting, and a very good home defense gun. If you dont reload, the ammo will be costly. I would stay away from the sing actions. Just...
