In market for shotgun for Trap Shooting

Hey, ya'll, I am looking to get a CZ shotgun for trap shooting and maybe skeet. I have only shot trap at an introduction meeting and found it an interesting shooting sport. My initial choice would be a CZ Sporter Standard Grade G2 but the description states that is a good shotgun for sporting...

Bad Day, Bad Shot, or just Bad?

22s Not Fun, I have to disagree. I have two CZ 22's in my safe and they are fun and inexpensive to shoot. They are valuable in that I can work on my shooting technique and transfer that added range time to improve my shooting technique while shooting my CZ 223. Just my 2c worth.

I would like to share a day at the range

with you. I put in for vacation from the firehouse and I took three firearms with me to the range back in March. I took my 452 FS with a J&P 3/32 ghost ring, my 527 223 varmint laminate and my 82 Mak. It was a beautiful day and I got there early to set up. A long with my rifles, I also had my...

New to Rifles, Need Advice on a Practice .22 for Long Range

LAguy, I happen to agree with TOIVO in recommending a CZ 452,453 or 455. Out of the box the aforementioned rifles are very accurate and of course cost a little more than other rifles suggested. But dollar for dollar the quality and finish on a mass produced CZ is very good if not excellent. I...

    CZ-75 (clones) Carry

thompsoncustom is right on in the assessment of why US cops don't carry CZ 75's. Cost does play a factor but the weight consideration is more the norm. If one takes a look at what a police officer carries on their waist belt; you would understand that to carry the lightest side arm is invaluable.

    I Really Need a .22 Rifle...

kg363, I, too, started with a 22 lr as my first rifle. I chose the CZ 453 American and I really like to shoot this rifle. It has been and continues to be an accurate rifle. I have attached a picture. The rifle has a Bushnell 12 - 20 x 40 scope mounted on it. Just my 2 cents...

In reply to own post Over the past couple of months, I have had the opportunity to handle several handguns to use as a CCW. Walther PPK, Sig Sauer, Bersa Firestorm/Thunder and CZ 82/83. They all felt really good on my hand. The Sig and Bersa were the lightest of the four. I liked the idea of...

When and what age did you buy your first gun?

My first rifle purchase was a Beeman Air Rifle and my age 61. Kinda wimpy for this forum. But later that year, a CZ 453 American 22lr was purchased.

    Browning vs CZ centerfire

I vote for the 527 223 39Maple, I have a CZ 527 223 Varmint Laminate and paid around 1100 dollars for rifle and scope. If you can get one for 600 dollars with a scope that is one sweet deal.
