I like both, but 9mm is cheaper than .45acp. The way I look at it, I would rather hit the BG with two 124gr. (248gr.) than with one 230gr. .45acp, also, I like the high capacity you get with 9mmers.

My money is on the 17, mine is right dead on the X10, it is my everyday carry as well, just can't beat the 17. It's like a timex, it takes a lickin' and keeps on a tickin'.

My question is...... How many of you guys carry a "Lady Smith"? I am about to get a S&W 36 Lady Smith. I like the little .38, my friends are laughing at me due to it's a "Lady Smith". From what I can tell it's really no different from a regular S&W 36 other than it has "Lady Smith" on the side...

Is the S&W 36 a good snubbie for every day carry? Is this a good S&W product?

What is the difference in the .38 Special S&W Model 60 "Lady Smith" and the .38 Special S&W Model 36 in the "Lady Smith". I have had a S&W Model 60 in .38 before, but never a Model 36. I know they are "J" Frames but what else is the difference??

jahwarrior........ Yes, when you order the holster order it for the biggest one, instructions that come with holster will explain how to carry the smaller weapon. I have had mine on all day, I just took it off about 5 minutes ago, I still think it's the best for me.

Friend of mine has a poly Kahr, has had problems with it feeding ammo (lately)and the poly rails are thinning from what they used to be. It has around 2000 rounds through it.

My vote goes to Glocks, I have had a few 9mm and they all have been good shooters but the best that I have had is the Glocks.

My vote is for the 27, great gun. I have heard that the 36 is the black sheep of the family, Gastons little turd, It has it's share of problems. From the looks at the poll at the top it's going to be a close race, but we all know the 27 is going to win:evil:
