or if anyone has any links to a place that has them in stock to order that would work too. hell, even a backorder would work.
So, back in October/November i ordered a PSA lower for my birthday. It was "blemished" and only costed me $67 after shipping, and then a $30 transfer fee. Heres where nice people come in.
A buddy of mine sent me some extra parts he had laying around. A PSA fire control group, a MOE handle and...
bought from him on wednesday afternoon, had them on saturday. not only was he one of the few that had them in stock, but he was the cheapest. WOULD deal with again and will recommend to anyone.
might buy the UpLula loader from him if i decide to get one.
like the title says. i got a Ruger P95 but its the older model without the rail. How would i go about mounting a light onto the front of it? This is going to be my home defense gun.
ive been looking for an SKS, and i walked into my local gun shop and they had 1 on hand, and it had the spike bayonet and it had a 20rd fixed mag with a star stamped on it.
they were asking $289 for it. i cant find any info on these, but since that is the going rate for a regular SKS i might...
ive heard nothing but good things. my guns coming from a pawn shop (got a great price on it), and its only coming with 1 mag, but i might be able to talk them into an extra 1 or 2. But the 17rd seems to be the best option for extras :D
im a few weeks out from getting my P95. its my first handgun purchase. ive been looking forward to getting 2 or 3 17rd mec-gar mags, but they are now out of stock everywhere online.
anyone know where i can get some? i wouldnt even mind getting some used.
well, since im still new to guns and mosins, im gonna admit i didnt know surplus was steel cased. i knew the bullets were steel core. or maybe i have that wrong.
ive had my mosin a month and bought 120rds that the cases resembled brass, so i just went with it. :D
heres a question for anyone that reloads or knows something about it.
Is it possible to reload the spent brass from surplus 7.62x54r ammo?
im new to reloading and contemplating picking up the Lee Classic Loader just so i can get into it and understand it a bit better. I realize that surplus...
woke up early friday morning to go shoot before work.
100yrds from the bench. still needs to be sighted in. (50rds surplus) (1 FTF)
had a dude shooting a 30.06 right next to me, and a military group shooting various guns to

link is to the "update" but also contains a link to the original post.
question, what did you guys do to get the hand guard off? the one in the pics above, looks liks the wood has been removed just infront of the rear sight. however, mine seems to be one solid piece of wood.
lol, i got called out on that already by my buddies. it is "unconscious" act, cause im usually really good with that. i wont even do that with my paintball guns (the extreme hair trigger will fire at even the slightest touch), and when handing any guns at the store/gun show.
finally got to my mosin i bought last month. this thing was fun as hell. had 2 problems. the top barrel band on the hand gaurd keeps coming off, the spring is full of gunk so it doesnt spring back to grab it. And for some odd reason i kept having mag dumps. id fire, and then the ammo would drop...
